9pm, no lines, fully functional kiosk open 24 hours and the process was painless Instructions were clear and it walks you thru it step by step I did not need my veip notice or my license Just the rag number and last 4 digits of the vin number both of which are on the vehicle you are taking there to test And I was able to pay the late fee Loved it !!

I went here today in the late morning and there wasn’t a soul in line. The women working at the station were so sweet to me and did the service as efficient as possible. It was cold as can be and they were still smiling big. I was in and out in 5 minutes maximum. I wish every emissions test could go that smoothly. Thank yall! ❤️

Terrible experience. Poor customer service. Heard the worker complaining that he should have called out. He was rude and condescending when I asked a question about the payment. I just simply wanted to confirm the payment went through because the card reader did not indicate it. Teach your staff customer service and professionalism. That was pathetic

It was mid-morning on a weekday when I stopped by here to test my car’s emissions in this VEIP station. And to my shock, at least 40 more vehicles were in-line to take emissions tests. Although all 6 testing bays were running, the lines were not moving fast enough. After patiently waiting for another 20+ minutes, my car was in the testing bay to take emissions testing. There is a fee for the VEIP test, and it costs $14.00 for every sedan, SUV, minivan/cargo van, or full-size pickup truck. MDOT MVA accepts cash, AmEx, VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Sorry, cryptocurrencies are not accepted.

Just got back from the weirdest, most uncomfortable experience I've ever had a VEIP station. The guy who did the test for me was INCREDIBLY abrasive, spoke to me like I was an idiot kid who shouldn't be allowed to have a car, scolded me for having some tree sap on the exterior (sorry my driveway is under a tree? I get car washes regularly to try to counter it, not that it's any of your business, sir?), and seemed straight up angry at me right from the get-go. He had some difficulty finding the plug they have to connect to, and kept on asking where it is (you'd think he'd know, given that it's a very common car), and finally found it and there was something already plugged into it. He demanded to know what it was and I could only come back with "I don't know??" Turned out to be the SkyLink module I have, which I've never had reason to mess with in the past - other emissions testers certainly haven't brought it to my attention, let alone left it on the floor of my car telling me "you're gonna need to plug that back in". His parting sentiment was "You should REALLY know more about your car." I wish I'd told him that he may do this same process for hundreds of people a day, but I have this process done once by a stranger every two years, so I am SHOCKINGLY not an expert on the emissions test process. I wish I could give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he's having a hard day, but it was so incredibly unprofessional that I can't excuse it. Only pros were that the line was short and there was thankfully a knowledgable woman on staff who told him to take the SkyLink off to plug in the cord. Won't be returning to this location ever again.

The sign says it all! What it lacks in its’ passion to save the earth it makes up for with a disinterested experience rivaled only by the warm embrace of its cold, sterile, environ. Get in the queue, follow the commands to a T - “stand in the circle!”, and count yourself lucky it ends eventually. I only regret that I only get to do it every two years.
